    Expertise

    Emanuel’s expertise covers patent matters in the fields of chemistry, chemical engineering, physics and pharmaceuticals. 

    Emanuel has prosecuted and advised on numerous patent applications with medical and biological subject matter. Other areas of expertise include lithography and metrology.

     

    During his long-term work coordinating prosecution at Luzzatto and Luzzatto, Emanuel has built very close relationships with clients from around the world, including those from the pharmaceutical industry and Fortune 500 companies. 

     

    Emanuel’s client-focused approach, together with his meticulous work and availability for consultation with clients at all times, allows for an efficient and speedy resolution of their issues.

    Education & Experience

    After graduating with a Ph.D. in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering in 1984, Emanuel continued teaching and conducting academic research and joined Luzzatto and Luzzatto as a part-time trainee. 

    After qualifying as a Patent Attorney in 1997, Emanuel joined Luzzatto and Luzzatto as a full-time partner in 2004.

     

    His fields of interest are reflected in his academic lectures and in numerous published scientific articles on Spectroscopy and Electrochemistry, Quality Control and Sampling, Analytical Chemistry and Thermodynamics.

     

    Emanuel has edited several books in the field of chemistry, including analytical chemistry and laboratories for different levels, and his two-volume 1500 page “Principles of Chemistry” is used by University and College students throughout Israel. He has been recognized as an excellent lecturer for decades.
